Martini Girl

She thought she might not make it,
she was somewhat slightly stirred.
She very nearly didn't,
she was shaken and perturbed.
The sun was harsh, her bearings lost,
she wanted freedom, but at what cost?

She wandered with longing, she travelled far,
till she was stashed into a car.
They took her further than she'd been,
on a path that was as of yet unseen.

She lost all fear, she lost all sense,
it happens when your heart is spent.
She'd ventured further than she'd meant.
She wished she'd never crossed the fence.

Her destination, suddenly, clear in sight,
She found her courage, she felt her might.
She ventured into the hollow cave,
Picked up and olive,
and she was made.
