Calling all young aspiring singers under 12, this is your opportunity to SHINE!!!

The Little Arts Academy (LAA) is looking for two outstanding performers to join its very first performing group. This talent initiative is proudly supported by the Popular Digital Media Group.

WE ARE AUDITIONING!!!

Open to all children from seven to 12 years of age, the winning performers will stand the chance to win $500 worth of vouchers and join our talents to record LAA’s first CD featuring original compositions by well-established composers/arrangers.

• Fill in the online form with your particulars
• Remember to get your parent's permission and tick the relevant box to signify that you have done so. Incomplete forms will be rejected and not applicable for audition.
• Click the ‘upload’ button to attach a one-minute audio or video recording which can be in the following formats: mp3, mp4, 3gp. Mov
• If you are submitting an audio recording, you may also submit a photograph of yourself.

All entries will be posted ‘live’ on this website within 48 hours of successful submission, so you can share your entry with your friends and family.

THINGS TO DO ON AUDITION DAY

All shortlisted contestants will receive a confirmation email with their audition timing. Once received, please acknowledge the email and audition time recommended.

Before the audition
• On the day of audition, bring your acknowledgement email and a photocopy of your birth certificate/student pass.
• To manage the number of people in the auditions, we will only allow one parent/guardian to accompany each contestant.
• If there is a health alert, health checks will be conducted upon entering the audition premises (contestants and their guardians alike). Those who do not pass the health check will be asked to go home. We seek your kind understanding in this matter.

During the audition
• The length of the performance must be exactly one minute. If you perform longer than one minute, the judges will ask you to stop performing after one minute.
• If you are shortlisted, please bring along a minus-one music track or a karaoke version of the song of your choice. We strongly recommend English songs and it should be in CD, DVD or MP3 format.

NOTE:
There will be photographers and videographers present at the auditions and all contestants signing up for the auditions should be aware that their photos and videos may be used in post-audition press releases or publicity to create awareness of the competition.
